What a wonderful seasonWOW! What a wonderful season! We are all overwhelmed as to how many wonderful and special little coffee farms are really out here. We opened up our processing facility to small farms that have over the past years been overlooked or otherwise forgotten, there were many more than we expected.

Kona Coffee Blends BEWARE"Kona Blends" legally need to contain only 10% Kona Coffee. Blends are usually made by large roasters who primarily market inferior coffees from Brazil, Indonesia, Africa, and Central America, boasting "Kona" quality in Hawaii and throughout the world. WOW! What a wonderful season! We are all overwhelmed as to how many wonderful and special little coffee farms are really out here. We opened up our processing facility to small farms that have over the past years been overlooked or otherwise forgotten, there were many more than we expected.
The season overall ended up producing quite a bit less than last year, that nasty little X factor that in farming we will always deal with. But the interesting thing is that the coffee that we did get this season cupped exceptionally well. We have pretty much ended our harvest this season, there are still a handful of mauka (mountain) farms that have a last round on them but otherwise we are all done. We have been extremely busy clearing and planting out many new farms as well as maximizing out our own. We have been pruning for the past few months and it looks like we still have a few more to go, with all of the old farm cleanups and new farm planting I do not think this off season is going to slow down very much at all.
We have all had our first big flower in January so it looks like we will be picking in September if all goes according to schedule.
Thank you all for another wonderful season in coffee. We look forward to many more years of providing all of you the highest quality coffee possible.
Mahalo,
